I’ve been practicing in Brooklyn since 2008, and in 2011 opened Brooklyn Open Acupuncture, a sliding scale clinic where I had the privilege of supporting expanded access to acupuncture while developing my skills in community for nearly a decade. I have formally studied body and energy work, herbs, anatomy, and orthopedic acupuncture, but am fundamentally a student of the people I treat and my own body. I am continually learning from the resilience, persistence, beauty, suffering, and love in the continual death and rebirth of body and spirit. My practice is informed by East Asian Medicine, varied traditions of acupuncture and yoga in addition to biomedical anatomy, and I’m in debt to my teachers and all the participants of the lineages I study, the clinicians I’ve worked with, and the people I’ve treated.
